Thanks to the French Department – Ms Chassang, Ms Cattazzo and Ms Deceglie, a group of international students headed to Cannes to partake in the celebrated Cinema Festival!
After seeing the acclaimed Romanian film by Cristian Mungiu ‘Beyond the Hills’, the students, under their umbrellas, hit the red carpet and the Festival Palace.

The students had the pleasure of meeting up with a former IBS student, Jordan Alber, who was working at the festival. Two of the students also had the surprise of being interviewed by a tv journalist!

On Friday, May 25th, thanks to the efforts of several dedicated IBS mothers, the Terminale IB students joined teachers and family members for a special celebration dinner and awards ceremony. After an aperitif on the terrace of La Cabre d’Or in Cabries, a three-course dinner was proposed for almost 200 people. The evening ended with an Awards Ceremony and Student/Teacher speeches and performances.
