On Tuesday, November 26th, a group of IB Russian Literature students along with their teacher Mme Sharipova headed to Théâtre Toursky in Marseille for the Saint –Petersburg Season.
They attended the play “Ward N 6”, a stage adaptation of the short story of Anton Chekhov, presented by the Saint-Petersburg Theatre ‘Russian Enrepriza of Andrei Mironov’. The staging was quite impressive and the outing was enjoyed by all!
Thank you to Mme SHARIPOVA for having organised this outing.
IBS would like to thank Maria Effertz, student teacher from Minneapolis, who joined our teaching staff for the past the past three months. Maria, who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts and Literature and who is currently finalising her Master of Arts in Teaching, taught English to almost all levels as well as organising the Theatre Club on Fridays.
Thank you Maria for all your enthusiasm and positive contributions to our school.
