We are proud to announce that the new veranda at IBS has been finished, a project which took place mainly over the Fall Break. Students can now dine in the new outdoor dining hall while still soaking up the sun and enjoying the lovely view of the tennis courts.
If you haven’t had a chance to see the new building, please stop by for a look and let us know what you think!
We are proud to announce that we have attained a new record at IBS – we now have 60 different nationalities represented at our school! This melting pot of languages and cultures is what makes our school a unique place to learn and to teach. Tolerance of others, linguistic immersion, cultural diversity are all just a daily part of our life at IBS.
For a more detailed list of the nationalities this year, please find a link to the World Map of IBS:
On Friday 6th November, a group of 1er IB World Politics students with their teacher, Mr Di Mauro, were invited to Marseille to attend a Youth Conference at the Conseil Regional. The conference called “La jeunesse, l’avenir du territoire” was organised for students in the region to share their problems and concerns with French government officials.
The outing proved to be an excellent opportunity for the IB group to learn about French politics first-hand.
