On Friday 25th of March, our group of Final Year IB Art students, along with their two IB Art teachers, held a private screening of their artworks at the Tuilierie Bossy. Parents, teachers, students and friends attended the event, in admiration of the creative talents of these budding artists. The artwork included drawings, sculptures, video, photography and installation pieces.

Bravo to the students for their hard work and artistic talent and a special thank you to Mme Schroevers and Mr Areses Huertas for guiding our young artists in their creativity.

With only a few months left before their French Baccalaureate exam, the students in Final Year French section headed to Lyon from March 14th to 15th.

A full programme was scheduled for the group including a personalised visit of the ISCPA, School of Communication, by former IBS student, Jade Benhamou, who is in her first year so studies there.

Their trip also included a trip to the Lumiere museum, the famous Parc de la Tête d’or and the old town of Lyon.

Two jam-packed days of discovery and learning to leave the group with lasting memories. Thank you to our teachers, Mrs Salazzini, Mr Simon and Mr Toppia, for planning and accompanying them on this memorable trip.

Congratulations to IBS student, Valeriya Katrich, who won the “Elite Club” of the Regional Championships in Show Jumping at CHAM.  Her photo was even published in the local newspaper, La Provence.
