CANADIAN STUDENTS AT IBS
On Tuesday May 20th, 49 Canadian students from Huntsville
High School were IBS guests in Aix en Provence for several performances. This group of musicians, aged 15- 18, hail from the region of Ontario and participate regularly in music festivals and competitions in Canada and the United States.
Along with their leaders, they greatly entertained our students at lunch time with a selection of their repertoire: swing, jazz and a “Motown vibe”. Through three different kinds of musical genres – a symphony orchestra, a jazz band, and a choir – strong instrumental and vocal skills were showcased.
