On Wednesday 10th February, a group of 11 IBS International Baccalaureate students accompanied Mrs Lawrence to the Academic Council for the United Nations (ACUNS) offices in Marseille to meet the Director, Mr Pierre Jean Gire who will also be our guest speaker at the English Day on April 4th. The group spent a very interesting afternoon discussing the activities of the United Nations in general as well as planning an internship project with ACUNS for IBS students. Three IBS students (Guillaume Dubin, Karen Von Moses and Julia Binstock) will be starting their training with ACUNS during the first week of the February holidays.
Not only will this experience count for CAS, it will also be extremely beneficial for future job applications! We feel very honoured to be able to participate in the ACUNS activities and are now officially one of the four accredited ACUNS internship establishments - along with L’ENA, SCIENCE PO, and POLYTECHNIC.
