Wellbeing & Safeguarding at IBS of Provence
Safeguarding in schools is essential for keeping children safe.
Safeguarding, here at IBS of Provence means having the safety and wellbeing of our students as the priority in all our practices. In order to do this IBS has created systems and procedures as follows;

Whole-school policies and procedures (Anti Bullying, Learning Support, Inclusion)

Staff and volunteers who are confident in identifying and raising concerns.

Leadership confident in responding to and referring concerns and working with other agencies to protect children.

Teaching resources which promote wellbeing.

Wellness education and extracurricular focus on personal, social and health education.
Central to Safeguarding and Wellbeing are the IBS School Objectives:

To promote a level of global understanding among our students to accept and respect different cultures and beliefs where equality and diversity are celebrated.

To provide a bilingual, multicultural environment where language acquisition plays an important role in student development.

Our Student Support Programme at IBS
Our whole school student support and wellbeing programme has been put in place to address key aspects of student support.
Our 2024-25 Programme includes:

Anti Bullying week 12th to 18th November (inclusive)

Menstruation Workshops for All

Guest Speakers on - Sexual Health ( male and female), Addictions, Anti Bullying and Online safety.

Workshops on - Non violent communication, Yoga, Relaxation, Sexual Health (Male and female).
