Admissions Process

Welcome to our school.halloween

We are happy that you are considering joining our international community.

The Admissions Dept at IBS of Provence strives to make the admission process as simple as possible. We accept applications all year long and acceptance is given based on the academic profile and availability in the classroom.

Please note that you do not have to be bilingual to join our school. We are here to teach chilren so there is no language exam to join our school. But places are limited so there is a selection process based on school academics (school reports), student motivation (letter of motivation) and behaviour. This is especially important in the Upper School. We also strive to have a diverse community of nationalities with at least 50% French in order to maintain our bilingual French-English philosophy.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS:

1. Submit an online application :  ONLINE ADMISSION APPLICATION

You will need the following documents to complete the form:

  • Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or school administrator (only for Secondary students)
  • Marks from the present and previous school
  • Letter of Motivation from the student (only for Secondary students)
  • Copy of current passport
  • Current photo of student

2. Application Review

Once we have a completed application with all documents requested, we will review it along with the Academic Director for your child’s class. The application will either be accepted, declined, put on a wait list or we reserve the right to request further reports, exams or an interview.

3. Application Response

Due to small class sizes, and a large number of applicants, we cannot confirm places until our current families have confirmed re-enrolment in February. Therefore, all new applicants will receive a final confirmation of a place in March or later depending on the application date.

4. School Registration

Once an application has been accepted, you will receive a registration contract to sign and return with the first payment due (enrolment fee, entrance fee and first month of school tuition). The enrolment of your child is guaranteed ONLY after we have received your child’s signed registration contract AND the first payment.

5. New Student Pack
