CAS NEWS

As part of the IB Diploma programme, students are required to participate in CAS projects. CAS (Creativity, Action and Service) can come in several forms. Since this is an international programme, the settings for these activities have also been extremely international.

Here are just some of past student activities:

FRANCE

Work in a soup kitchen.
Work in a retirement home.
Volunteer at an International Guitar Festival.
Work at a hospital for handicapped children.
2 weeks visit to Paris with the Association des Paralysés de France (APF).
Helping in a veterinary clinic.
Helping handicapped children discover flying with Association Aviation Sans Frontières.
Volunteer at the Piano Festival in Roque d’Anthéron.
Volunteer at an Art Festival.

GERMANY

Work at a centre for the handicapped.

ENGLAND

Work at a school for Autistic children.

MALAYSIA

Work at a centre for the handicapped.

PERU

Volunteer with an Association working with delinquent teenagers.

VENEZUELA

Voluntary work in poor farming areas.

SWEDEN

Work in a retirement home for the mentally ill.

USA

Work in a soup kitchen.
Work at a centre for the handicapped.
Work in an Animal Shelter.
Training on a film set in Boston.
Participation in an International Film Festival.

BERMUDA

Volunteer work in a museum.
