At IBS of Provence, we offer two excellence programs in 3ème and 2nde: the IBS section and the Pre-IB section, designed to meet the aspirations of each student and prepare them optimally for higher education.
IBS Section: A Balanced Curriculum
The IBS section offers a balanced curriculum, combining the requirements of the French education system with a more international approach. Students follow the French curriculum, with a particular emphasis on learning English. At the end of 3ème, they take the French middle school diploma (Brevet des collèges) and complete a work internship of 1 week.

How to Choose Between the IBS and Pre-IB Sections?

IBS Section: Ideal for students wishing to take the national baccalaureate, benefit from a balanced education with 1/3 of classes in English, and have a good command of both French and English, with the option of pursuing either the French baccalaureate or the IB.
Pre-IB Section: Perfect for curious students with a good level of English, who wish to follow an international curriculum.
