Italy Meets Provence: Our Italian Exchange Partners at IBS
Last week, our Italian friends visited us for our annual language exchange with Liceo Parini and the wonderful Rosella Redaelli, a partnership that has been going strong for many years. 🇮🇹🇫🇷
It was an incredible week for our Year 9 (4ème) students, immersed in the language of Dante with a modern twist. Our students welcomed their Italian partners into their homes, sharing their daily lives and the IBS of Provence experience.
Highlights
Aix-en-Provence: historic monuments, hidden gems, traditional santons and the legacy of CĂ©zanne.
Marseille: Notre-Dame de la Garde and its golden statue, soap-making at the Vieux-Port, modern art at La Major, the charming Panier district and La Vieille Charité, finishing with the stunning architecture of the Mucem.
Eyes full of beauty, legs tired from walking and hearts full of memories!
Next Stop: Milan
Now it is our students' turn: they have just set off to Milan for the return exchange! Many thanks to Rosella Redaelli and Liceo Parini for this wonderful partnership, and to the families who hosted our Italian guests.
