GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONS

We are so very proud of our Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team and their coaches for their recent victory at the Iberian Sports League Tournament in Lisbon, Portugal! They won all of their matches on Saturday and played the finals on Sunday which they took home 1st Place. Thank you to Vania, Jack and the Sports Dept for giving them this opportunity to showcase their talent and skill ! We are very proud of you!

HALLOWEEN PARTY

On Thursday 18th of October, our lovely students transformed into ghouls, goblins and witches ! Not to mention some of their teachers! The Annual Halloween Party, organised by our IB students, was a big success – lots of screaming, face painting and cookies! The event included costume contests, games and complete with a haunted house (thus the screaming!) Thank you immensely to Ms Glaser and her team of CAS students for making the event safe…and so much fun !

ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH

On Thursday 11th of October, the Arts University of Bournemouth, came to visit our students and give a presentation on the various diplomas they offer. The session was well attended by 1er and Tle students who are interested in the Arts. For more information, you can visit their website at https://aub.ac.uk. Thank you to Tanya March for your informative visit !

INTERNATIONAL COFFEE MORNING

We were happy to host two international organisations, Welcome Aix and Expat Communication, who gave an informative conference for our parents on Cultural Challenges for Expats. The morning started off with a coffee welcome on the rooftop with a time to meet and greet and followed by the conference in the Amphitheatre. Thank you to parent, Mme Berard, for organising the event.

CAS COUNCIL

This year’s official CAS (Creativity-Action-Service) Council has been created under the guidance of Ms Glaser. Students from 1ere IB and Tle IB are part of this team and work hard every year to manage all of the different volunteer projects and events around the school.
