HISTORY DAY – IBS of Provence
On Tuesday, April 12th, the students in 6th and 7th grade participated in two interactive workshops in their History classes. A Roman matron gave the students in 6th grade a peek into the life of a child from birth to adolescence while the 7th grade students studied Medieval clothing. After donning traditional costumes, the students got a better idea of fashion during the Middle Ages!
Thank you to Mme Balandier Brown for organising these interactive student workshops.
JAPAN DAY – IBS of Provence
On Tuesday, April 5th, the entire school honoured Japan Day at IBS. A fundraising effort on behalf of the Franco-Japanese Association of Aix en Provence was launched which included a Parent Bake Sale. At 1 pm, the students gathered to observe a minute of silence.
Thank you to Mme Dupuy for organising the day and helping us make a difference (in a modest way) for the Japanese people.
